German supermodel Heidi Klum is being sued by a luxury jeweller for allegedly copying a vintage clover jewellery design.

The company, Van Cleef and Arpels, wants over $25,000 from Klum's beauty company Heidi Klum GmbH and Mouwad USA, reported contactmusic.com.

The lawsuit was filed in New York Friday and claims both companies benefited from the creation and sale of a design similar to Van Cleef and Arpel's Alhambra jewellery line.
